At long last! After years of requests, I finally created a Jane Austen doll! She is 11", hand-stitched face, with a blue chiffon dress, with lace and gauze trim and a gauze bonnet painstakingly stitched to look just like in the classic portrait painting of Jane.
Because this doll has real wool roving for her hair, she is not intended as a toy for a child as much as she is a decor item. Wool roving hair could come loose from the doll if tugged too hard.
